We Are Happy Customers - Elisya :-)
17 Mar 2008
Complaints are unavoidable, and we face that everyday. Sometimes, your kids may complained about you spending too little time on them. Sometimes, your friends complained about you being too selfish. Well, sometimes you may even complained to yourself that you could actually do it better. Anyway, complaints happen because demands are unlimited, and supplies are scarce – Laws of economics.
Some people take complaints negatively and it often impact their lives in one way or another. Whereas, we take complaints as a natural reaction of human beings. Be it an accidental incidents or errors created by ourselves or our good clients, we face it and take it seriously. We tried not to overlook any single complaint, though sometimes we might humanly do. Gently remind us, and we will respond.
Below is the actual correspondence between PotatoCream and Elisya. We would like to use it as a testimony to show you our ways of handling complaints. Hopefully it sheds a light to you.
Best Regards

Badly Sewed Product :-)
Elisya :
Hi, I just got the parcel today....and apparently...i was quite disappointed with the goods. The sewing workmanship is very poor (can see the sewing lines is not straight)...and the quality of the dress especially the colors i hope the colors won;t run when i wash it. (can see like the white straps is a bit overun by the black color straps. )
Anyway...i like the what i see on the website and i was looking forward to buy a second..piece from your goodself..but now i am not sure.
PotatoCream :
Hi Elisya, we normally do not leave things unattended, even if you are not buying
the second one from us. If it is fine with ya, kindly follow the steps
below for our attention :
1. Please do not wash the cloth first. (Once it is washed, we will not
be responsible)
2. Please take a few photos of your dissatisfaction and email back to
enquiries@potatocream.com (Preferably, with additional 1 or 2 photos
of yourself wearing it)
3. Please note in your email with indication of your dissatisfaction.
We will see if the problem can be rectified from your side, or ours.
We will keep following your thread. Hope this helps. :-)
Elisya :
Helo, thanks for your reply, the attached photos are some of the areas in the dress that the threads are not properly sew. As for the quality of the material...is hard for me to articulate it through photos....as i did tried taking it but the effect doesn't show it.
For your step two, i think there is no need for me to wear it...as the size fitted and it doesn't prove anything.
Your step three...the photos clearly showing the indication of the threads not properly sew.
Hope the pictures helps.
PotatoCream :
Helo, I have reviewed the photos and agreed it is indeed quite badly done.
Our apology for that, as we truly understand how you would feel. We
had done the first scan through of the product when it has arrived and
thought it was fine.
Here are my suggestions :
1. Can you bring to a tailor and re-sew it properly?
Ps : We agreed to bear half of the sewing fee.
2. Once it is done, please take another photo before you washed it.
3. Wash it. Hopefully the color would not run off.
If the colors are badly run. We will apologize and refund you.
4. I was not sure if this is the best suggestion. Perhaps, you take
photos, wash it, then tailor it to save our cost. Anyway, we welcome
feedbacks.
You probably need someone to scream at, here is my MSN (Encrypted)
I am not always online. In case you cant find me, email me to get online.
Elisya :
Helo, Thanks for your prompt reply...yes i indeed feel cheated...and with the amount of price that i paid for such quality, is just not worth it. Don't get me wrong.....i don't mind paying for something that has quality. Anyway...i will try to wash.
I'll try to fixed the sewing myself.....will keep you updated..if the color runs off.
thanks and regards,
PotatoCream :
Helo, we are quite upset to hear that, as we have no intension to cheat from
the beginning. :-(
If the color runs off, let us know. I will let you choose another
cloth from our website. We will check the material before sending over
for the exchange. Please understand that we are trying to be
responsible. Hope it helps a little.
Best Regards
Elisya :
Just to inform you that....the color is fine.. and I think to make this easier the next time....i have a suggestion. why not take a photo of your goods showing the actual clothes and material instead of catalogue pictures.
By doing this, you can set the expectation right.
regards,
PotatoCream :
Thanks for the info. I believe that helps us.
We have too many admins, programming, marketing and stocks. We are just a start up company. To take additional photos and upload them would mean additional admins which we could not afford at the moment.
In addition, each monitor's brightness differs. It is not possible to show the accurate colors. The same applies to the brightness and angle of the photos taken. Additionally, we thank you for your feedback and suggestions.
Take care too
Elisya :
I think should be fine....can you do me a favour? Is it possible for me to view the actual photos of these two items? 640 and 583.
thanks and regards,
What do you think our answer would be? Yes, of course.
And the story continues... :-)
